Statement of Faith

We Believe:

  • The Bible is the inspired and only infallible Word of God. Reflecting the Author’s character, it is unchanging, eternally valid and competent to guide, encourage or correct every generation according to His wisdom

  • There is one true God, eternally existent in three persons: God the Father, God the Son, God the Holy Spirit.

  • In the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His personal future return to the earth in power and glory to judge the living and the dead.

  • In the blessed hope, the rapture of the Church at Christ’s coming.

  • In the fall and sinfulness of man and that the only means of being cleansed from sin is through repentance and faith in the precious blood of Christ.

  • Regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential to personal salvation.

  • God’s power to heal – consistent with His nature – is unchanged today. Faith in His character and the redemptive work of Christ on the cross may result in healing or the confidence to trust and praise Him in affliction. Both of these we recognise as miracles of His grace.

  • The Baptism of the Holy Spirit is essential to effective testimony to Jesus. (John 15:26; Acts 1:4-5)

  • The Church of Jesus Christ is the universal, spiritual body of believers from every tribe, tongue, kindred and race of peoples, and is indwelt by God through the Holy Spirit and divinely empowered to fulfil ministry and her Great Commission on earth.

  • The covenant promises of God to Abraham, and we stand with the Jewish people, whether Religious, Secular or Messianic, against all forms of anti-Semitism. ‘Salvation…’ for all races ‘…is of the Jews’ on account of Yeshua ben David (Jesus Son of David) the Son of God.

  • In the sanctifying power of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a holy life.

  • In the resurrection and final judgment of both the saved and the lost, the one to everlasting life and the other to everlasting damnation.

  • In the new heavens and the new earth and the holy Jerusalem, the city of God, descending out of heaven and filled with the glory of God.

  • Christian growth can only be realized by faith in the promises of God.

  • Since God the Creator does not change, He can still be known as ‘Father’ by all who come to Him through his Son. He is for us against our sin – restoring His own likeness in us as we trust Him to complete our salvation.
